On Thursday, September 28 we will be joined by Lysne Tait, the Executive Director and co-founder of Helping Women Period, a local nonprofit organization that provides menstrual products and support for homeless and low-income people in mid-Michigan. Lysne will share her vast experience making a difference as a leader in the period poverty space. Participants will learn about the organization's work in the community and how to get involved. Themed cookies from Coco's Confections will be provided.
The event will include access to free menstrual cups and period underwear. Menstrual product donations will also be accepted.
