Join us for a historic walking tour of downtown DeWitt led by Wayne Summers. This mile-long walk will begin and end at Riverside Park. Tour highlights include the DeWitt Hotel, Native American settlement, Interurban Grade, Grange Hall, old mill site, and more. Walks are scheduled for 10 am and 7 pm. In the event of rain this walk will take place Wednesday, June 18. Please note this is a repeat of the Downtown DeWitt Historic Walk offered last June.
Wayne Summers is a long-time Board Member of both DeWitt District Library and the Clinton County Historical Society. He has been involved in local history efforts for many years.
