Join Ms Jozefa & Ms Kelsie for our Early Literacy in the Home Series! THE SCHOLASTIC ENGAGING FAMILIES IN CHILDREN’S LITERACY DEVELOPMENT workshops offer practical and effective resources with videos, hands-on activities, and step-by-step support for involving families in their children’s literacy growth. Free books and materials suitable for preschool, kindergarten & 1st Grade are available at each workshop. This program is for adults and children to attend together. PLEASE REGISTER EACH PERSON ATTENDING.
Families will learn to engage their children with motivating and fun guided language and literacy activities that address core literacy areas:
- Concepts of Print
- Writing
- Phonological Awareness
- Letter-Sound Knowledge
- Comprehension
- Oral Language
